Description:

Pottery two-handled cup or shallow bowl in coarse fabric, probably related to Plain White II ware; wheel-made; conical body on a low conical foot; vertical neck with slightly concave sides; pair of opposing loop handles, crudely finished; made of coarse red-orange clay with numerous white inclusions, covered with what appears to be a red slip or wash (worn away in many places); the foot is chipped and surface is abraded.
