Pottery tankard in Base Ring I ware; handmade; squat biconical body with a carinated shoulder and ring base; wide tapering neck with everted horizontal rim; strap handle with thumb grip, forked at one end; buff clay and brown slip with two encircling relief ridges just below the rim.
