Bronze, Mountings, Fragments (J.1477)

Drawing of a bent bronze fragment with a short upturned arm and a hooked, flattened end, shaded in stippled ink. — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, Csn2177. Public domain (CC0).

Description

The drawing shows a thick, rod-like object bent into an L-shape, with a short upturned arm at the top, a long arm running to the right, and a hooked, flattened end at the lower left. The body is shaded with dense black stipple that gives it a grainy grey tone, and a few small dark marks sit on the surface. The pale ground is empty apart from a handwritten number and a fraction note below the object.
