Bowls (J.398 C.II)

Drawing of a single bowl with a rounded body and slightly everted rim, shown in stippled ink — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, Csn2126. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A stippled ink drawing of one bowl seen from the side, with a wide, rounded body that narrows toward a small base and a thin, slightly flared rim. Dense dots shade the body and give the surface a grainy texture, and a faint horizontal line marks a change in the profile below the rim. Pencilled notes, including a small red mark, sit in the margins of the pale paper.
