Standing draped statue in pale, porous stone, from Mersinaki — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C09003. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A standing draped statue stands on a low square base against a plain pale wall. A cloak wraps over the shoulders and across the body, one hand gathers the fabric at the chest, and the other arm hangs bent at the side. The pitted, porous surface is worn, especially on the face and head, and a small block sits beside the feet.
