Description

A carved limestone head of a figure, turned three-quarters toward the viewer against a plain grey backdrop. The hair is combed in close ridged strands over the top of the head and held by a broad band across the forehead, with locks falling at the sides. The eyes are almond-shaped, the mouth curves into a slight smile, and the neck ends in a flat break resting on a dark stand.
