Looking down from a rocky, scrubby slope over the village of Lapithos. White flat-roofed houses sit among dense trees, and a tall slender tower rises near the centre-left. Beyond the village, low cultivated land runs to a flat sea horizon under a cloudy sky, with large pale rocks in the foreground.
