Bone figurine (I.1283)

Bone figurine from Idalion: a rough, mottled object with projections, photographed against a grey backdrop — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C06052. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A small object with a rough, pitted, whitish-grey surface fills most of the frame against a dark grey backdrop. A flat knob rises from the top edge and a rounded lump projects to the right, with a dark hollow near the centre. Its form is hard to read as a modelled figure.
