Bronze weapons (i.315)

Corroded metal object with a domed shape and a broken opening on one side, photographed against a pale background — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C05938. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A single dome-shaped metal object with a dark, pitted and corroded surface, shown on a plain pale background. The rounded lower edge is intact, but the right side is broken away, leaving a ragged hole and a torn rim. Its form suggests a helmet, although the corrosion hides any surface detail.
