Corroded metal ring attached to a round disc-shaped fragment, with a number label below on a white card — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C05885d. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A photograph of a corroded metal object: a thick open ring is joined to a larger round disc with a pitted, rough surface. The pieces lie on a white card with one cut corner, and a grey tag with a handwritten number label sits below them. The ring passes behind the disc at its upper edge, and the surface shows encrusted, uneven texture.
