Pottery Bichrome IV, Amphora-Crater (J.1535)

Description
A reconstructed ceramic vessel with a short neck, rounded body and a ring foot, standing on a pale surface against a grey backdrop. Two large loop handles rise from the shoulder, and several thin and thick horizontal bands run around the neck and body. Three long-necked birds with striped wings are painted in a row on the lower body, and cracks and join lines show where the sherds have been fitted together; part of the rim is missing.
