Hellenistic roman Mersinaki Terracotta limestone

Description

A carved head in profile facing right, its hair built up in tight rows of curls over the brow and back of the head. The face has a straight nose, closed lips and a pitted, rough surface on the cheek and chin. The head is cut off at the neck and photographed against a plain grey backdrop, with a thin border around the print.
