Stone statue head from Soli (So. 520 C.M.)

Description
A carved stone head of a figure with long, wavy hair falling in ridged locks on both sides of the face. The face has a straight nose, full lips and heavy-lidded eyes, and the surface is weathered and pitted. The neck ends in a rough break, and the head rests on a plain backdrop with small pale fragments at its base.
