Description

Workers excavate around walls of loosely laid rubble stone rising across the slope at Soli. A man in a flat cap stands at left beside a long-handled pick, and another man stands near a dark opening at centre-left. Further figures are scattered along the top of the walls and in the trench at lower right, where one person sits among the loose earth.
