Description

A deep excavation cutting shows a vertical face of layered soil full of stones, with a row of stone blocks standing out in the lower centre. A spoil heap of earth and rubble lies beyond the cut, and a narrow rail track runs along its edge with a dark metal cart on it at the upper right.
