Description

A standing mass of rough-cut stones and rubble rises on the left of an excavation. In front of it, a flat, stepped surface of packed earth and a few loose stone blocks run diagonally across the frame. Excavated earth banks rise behind and at the edges, and deep shadows fill the lower part of the view.
