Description

Several pottery vessels and broken sherds lie in the earth of an excavated pit, photographed from above. On the left a shallow bowl or dish is broken into pieces, with a cluster of sherds beside it. A round-bodied jar, a small cylindrical cup and a two-handled jug with a flared neck sit in the middle and right, and the rocky sides of the cutting rise behind them.
