Description, scan 2
Pale stone objects lie in situ in the bottom of a deep excavation pit at Mersinaki. An upright broken piece rises from a mound of soil at the centre, with a rounded fragment and a small lump beside it. At lower right a larger pale elongated piece lies against the pit wall, and a small object sits on the floor at left; the soil banks behind show layered earth and stones.
