Description

A deep excavated pit at Mersinaki, with pale, layered soil walls on the right and left and a rough bank at the top. Two dark, rounded objects sit on the pit floor near the centre, and a pale cylindrical object lies in the soil at the right edge. Strong raking light leaves most of the floor in shadow, so the objects are hard to identify in detail.

Description, scan 2
A dark excavation pit with a steep, layered soil face along the right side, its surface marked by tool traces. Several cylindrical objects lie in situ against the lower right of the soil face, and two rounded objects sit on the pit floor near the centre. Strong shadows cover much of the frame, making the finds hard to read in detail.
