Excavation at Amathus with stone construction

Description
A cut in the excavated ground shows a stone construction: a long upright slab edged along its top, with squared blocks and a row of flat stones leading down beside it. The trench walls are rough, earthy and layered, and loose soil lies in the foreground. No people are present.
