Terracotta Minor Plastic (So. 052)

Fragment of a small figure with vertical folds, found at Soli, photographed against a black background — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C00286. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A pale, weathered fragment stands upright against a black background. A rounded projection sits at the upper left, and a thick, flat base runs along the bottom. Many vertical grooves run down the body, suggesting drapery folds, and the surface is pitted with a crack on the lower left side. Handwritten number labels are on the card below the object.
