Description

Curved courses of stone walling run across the middle of the view, with a packed earth path between them and a deep cut trench on the right. Spoil heaps of pale soil line the far edge of the excavation, and a few trees and low hills stand on the open land beyond. A narrow curved channel with a stone edge appears in the left panel, which is joined to the main view along a visible seam.

Description, scan 2
Two joined views of an excavation at the theatre at Soli. Curved walls of rough stone curve around a cleared, earthen area, and a dirt track runs between them toward a deep trench on the right. Heaps of excavated earth lie behind the walls, and a flat landscape with scattered trees stretches to the horizon.
