Life and work
- 1927–1931Listed in the Expedition's preface as one of three 'trained workmen' (with Christos Grigoriou and Jorkis Andrea), alongside foremen from the Cyprus Museum attendants.
- 1927–1931Gjerstad's memoir describes 'Simeon from Nisou' at the Karpassos camp cutting a fireplace and oven in the rock, and later digging at Polis tis Chrysochou, where he considered marrying a local girl for her 50-pound dowry.
