Life and work

  1. 1936
    While in Cyprus accompanying her scientist husband, volunteered her expertise; the conservation of mural paintings was entrusted to her under Hilton's Antiquities Department. Described as a pupil and then colleague of E. W. Tristram, authority on English medieval wall-paintings.

    Published 'A visit to some of the Maronite villages of Cyprus' (Eastern Churches Quarterly 3, 1938-9, 304-8); Metcalf cites her for Maronite village distribution (adds Karpasia and Kythrea).
