Life and work
- 1883Numismatic classification of Cypriot series in Revue Numismatique (1883, p. 254), cited by Hogarth for the territory and coinage of Salamis and for the geographical order of Cypriot autonomous cities.
- 1884Supplied A. P. di Cesnola with notes and attributions for early Cypriot coins in his collection: Evagoras I of Salamis (bilingual Cypriot-Greek legend), Nicocles son of Evagoras I, Stasioikos king of Marion.
- 1888Credited with careful drawings, from paper impressions, of the Cypriot-syllabic inscriptions found at Kouklia (JHS 9, section VI); M. J. P. Six also sent corrections to Dr Deecke's transcriptions (e.g. reading o-ro-ko-ne-to-te for po-ko-ne-tu-te in the British Museum text II l. 7; 'dessin de mon fils').
- 1891Munro's Polis tes Chrysochou report attributes the Lion's-head type silver coin (circ. 480-400 BC) found in Tomb 40 to Soli, citing M. Six (note 21).
