    Lodged Ohnefalsch-Richter's team for payment in the monastery, recruited workers, helped with wages; a letter of 10 July 1889 reports he tried to stop a tomb being opened in the overseer's absence. Local knowledge of the land also helped O.-R.

    The monastery was O.-R.'s base in 1889, 1890 and 1894 (his mount stabled there), per Buchholz; the monk is not named in this note.
