Directed the University of Trier's first (and only) campaign at the site long known as the ancient theatre of Nea Paphos: cleared part (6.50 x 9.50 m) of the Hellenistic theatre, where five Greek letters on the seats dated it to the late 4th or early 3rd century BC; explored the rocky summit above it, finding foundations of an east-facing temple (19.30 x 14.60 m) taken to crown the Hellenistic acropolis; and cut two further trenches south of the cavea (medieval walls over an earlier building).
