April–May 1972
During the Laval mission's April-May 1972 season at Soloi (director Jean des Gagniers), M. Giroux collaborated with James Carpenter, professor of archaeology at Kent State University, on a systematic survey of Bronze Age sites in the Soloi region, done with the mission's agreement as an extension of its work; results to be published in the Laval series Fouilles archéologiques de l'Université Laval.
