Life and work
- 12 September 1870Received from Cesnola a 73-page album of photographs of objects found in the temple at Golgoi, dedicated by hand 'A Sua Eccellenza Il Conte Federico Sclopis di Salerano, Cipro addi 12 Settembre 1870'; the album survives in Turin. A letter that accompanied it was lost.

- 1870–1878Masson reports that Cesnola's letters to Sclopis were kept for a time in the Academy's Secretariat and later destroyed on an unknown date (information credited to Gustavo Vagnone).
- January 1871Cesnola's report on the discoveries in Cyprus, especially the temple of Golgoi, addressed to Sclopis as President of the Royal Academy of Sciences at Turin (signed Larnaca, January 1871); Masson says it was read before the Academy (in absentia?).
