    Confided in by Eve Stewart about her relationship with J. R. B. Stewart (Jim thought Elektra would support her); the Megaws had a cottage near the Kyrenia Range where Jim and Eve visited.

    Wore earrings that J. R. B. Stewart, a collector, had made from a pair of Roman coins he had bought; Hector Catling was disturbed by the possible conflict of interest for a Director's wife, and Peter Megaw was infuriated (Powell's account).
