Life and work
- December 1885 – January 1886Presided as judge in Watkins v. Warren, Larnaca: Charles Watkins sued the Chief Secretary Falkland Warren for a third of the antiquities from Frangissa (Pera-Frangissa, near Tamassos) and damages. Judgment for Warren, Watkins to pay costs. Walpole's judgment blamed Ohnefalsch-Richter, saying he 'began with the intention of deceiving the defendant and he has ended by cheating the plaintiff' (Cyprus Herald 9 Jan 1886, quoted by Given).
