History
- 1971–1972SUNY, Albany was a founding consortium member funding the first exploratory campaign (August 1971) of the American Expedition to Idalion; the expedition was jointly sponsored by ASOR and the Institute for Cypriot Studies in Nicosia of SUNY Albany. Its Professors James Heaphey and Mary Goggin initiated the project, first assigned Paul W. Lapp (d. 1970).
