    Nearly all the Cypriot objects of the Legion of Honor (accessions 1924.9, 1925.17, 1925.346 etc.) came as gifts of Mrs Alma de Bretteville Spreckels Awl; the museum's online records for 47 of them (e.g. 1925.17, 1925.346.3-4) credit the Queen of Greece as donor.
