- 1910Ad hoc creation of a Cyprus Committee at the Royal Prussian Academy of Sciences, prompted by news of Cypro-syllabic inscriptions found at Rantidi and by Ohnefalsch-Richter's applications.
- 22 August 1910Hatton Richards, Acting Chief Secretary, granted a permit to 'Dr. Robert Zahn, assistant keeper of the Berlin Museum, acting for and on behalf of the Cyprus Committee of the Royal Academy of Sciences of Berlin'.

- 30 August 1910 – 7 October 1910Fieldwork at Rantidi under Zahn. Results for inscriptions were very poor, the excavators could no longer export finds to Berlin, and no preliminary report was published.
