The project
In 1956 two single-burial built sarcophagi were found by accident in the cemetery at Ayios Ermoyenis, at Curium. One held a coin of Antoninus Pius and one glass vessel; the other held a coin of Commodus and one glass vessel1. A. H. S. Megaw noted that the finds could help to date Roman-period glass in Cyprus, and he reported them in Archaeological Reports for 19561.
