Description:

Pottery jug in Plain White VI Ware; wheelmade; almost cylindrical body with tapering neck and everted round rim; vertical handle, circular in section from rim to shoulder; body tapers slightly to a flat base; made of dark brown gritty clay; creamy white slip, now badly worn; rim is broken away on two sides and the base is chipped.
