Zeus-Ammon Terracotta Figure

Description:

Upper part of a terracotta figurine or model group in the iconography of Zeus-Ammon (or perhaps Pan) but probably the Great God of Cyprus; hollow, mould-made; beared male with horns, wearing a cape knotted around the chest, over a pleated tunic; cornucopia in his left hand, his right arm down by the side. Made of find buff clay with traces of a white wash over the surface, which is very worn. The nose is brokn away.
