Terracotta Warrior Figurine

Terracotta figure of a warrior; rudely modelled; columnar with base; in the l. hand is a circular shield held out; the r. arm, which is rudimentary, is raised and may have held a spear; the figure wears a conical cap painted red; the nose and mouth are red; the beard and eyes are black; on the r. hand are black stripes and on the sheild are red and black rays; the lower part is painted with vertical stripes alternately black and red.
