Silver pendant with carnelian scarab
On the scarab, two figures flanking a tree. This type of pendant, that undoubtedly also served an amuletic function, was Phoenician in origin and widely distributed throughout the Mediterranean. Other: 5/16 × 9/16 × 11/16 in. (0.8 × 1.4 × 1.7 cm) Diameter: 1 11/16 in. (4.3 cm)
