Description:

This work embodies the general characteristics of Cypriot Archaic sculpture, with its blend of influences from Phoenician, Egyptian, and Greek sources. Dedicated at temple sites, votive statues like this one wore wreaths of myrtle, laurel or ivy leaves around their heads.
