Scala, near Larnaca: houses on the shore
Description
A long row of two- and three-storey houses lines the shore on the right, with balconies, arched doorways and shuttered windows. Wooden posts stand in the water and rocks lie along the edge in the foreground. On the left, several small boats and sailing vessels are anchored on the open, flat water, and a slender minaret rises behind the buildings under an overcast sky.
