The trial pit by tomb 406 proved positive and resulted in tomb 421. In the lower (southern) part of its "dromos" lies a larger accumulation of vessels, which is being prepared forward. The dromos is short and the vessels lie high up in it, just below the level of the rock. The vessel accumulation is cleared and drawn, and taken out.

At the level of these vessels, in a recess in the east wall of the dromos, there is a skull, evidently together with the pots, forming the remains of a later burial. A couple more bones are found. In front of the skeleton lies, in the usual way, a loosely built wall. Skeleton and pots lie on the same level and the wall, whose foot lies 0.45 m deeper, is 0.70 m high.
