Description

A view down a grassy slope over the village of Lapithos, with clusters of flat-roofed, whitewashed houses and a tall church-like tower among trees. On the left a grazing animal with a dark head stands by bare-branched trees, and on the right a leaning tree with leaves fills the foreground. Beyond the village a wide flat plain stretches to the sea on the horizon.
