Description

A carved head in pale limestone, shown from a three-quarter view against a plain grey background. The hair is combed in fine ridges over the crown and held by a broad band with leaf-like forms, with locks falling beside the ears. The face has narrow almond-shaped eyes, a closed smile and a rounded chin, and the neck ends in a rough broken edge resting on a dark base.
