Description

Taken from among large weathered stone blocks in the foreground, the view looks across a harbour to a waterfront of pale multi-storey buildings and a tall slender tower. Several small figures stand on the quay, a white boat with a mast is moored at the right, and dark mountains rise behind the town under a hazy sky. The photograph is mounted on a page with a printed quotation below it.
