Description

Several large rectangular blocks of rough-dressed stone are set in a curving line, with a thin dark measuring rod standing beside them at the centre. The blocks form a low wall with a step-like top, and a paved floor of flat stones runs across the foreground. Behind the wall is a rougher masonry wall and a bank of earth and rubble.
