Pottery Red Figured Ware (V.294)
Description
A globular vessel with a short wide neck and a ring foot is photographed from the side, mounted on a grey card with handwritten labels around it. The dark surface is worn in patches, with lighter losses and cracks across it. A standing figure in a long belted garment, with a helmet-like head covering and one arm raised, fills the centre of the body, and a band of interlocking square spirals runs around the lower part.
