Hellenistic roman Terracotta limestone object, Mersinaki (Me. 0616)

Description

The photograph shows a life-size standing figure carved in pale limestone, with short curly hair and the head turned to the right in profile. The surface is heavily pitted and eroded, and the arms and torso are rough and worn. The figure is set against a grey wall with a door and a wooden floor, held upright by a tall black rod and a low base.
