Description

A large, leaning tree with bare, spreading branches fills the right and upper part of the frame. In the middle distance a low dry-stone wall runs across the picture, with a small wooden post structure standing behind it. The foreground is strewn with stones and rubble, and beyond lies flat open land with scattered shrubs and low hills under a pale sky.
