Palace model at Vouni

Model of a palace complex at Vouni, showing walls, rows of column bases and a flight of steps — Photograph: John Lindros, Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1928–29. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C06496. Public domain (CC0).

Description

An oblique view down onto a large model of walled rooms and courtyards, with low grey walls running in rows across a flat base. Rows of short column bases stand in an open courtyard at centre left, and a flight of steps runs diagonally up through the middle. A stepped feature sits at the lower left edge, and the surrounding ground is a plain, slightly textured surface.
